When I first stumbled upon The Scar Solution I was skeptical – how can long entrenched scars be truly cured without the use of laser surgery? Surely it was just internet marketing hype, or so I was told.
In this review of The Scar Solution, I will shed some light on what to expect when you purchase this much lauded scar removal guide.
Initial Thoughts
The Scar Solution is a unique blend of scientifically sound scar advice as well as an approach to a more natural way of eliminating scars.
Instead of the many guides that tend to advocate “homemade” remedies or dubious untested methods, this guide only recommends methods the author has had personal success with.
It is reasonably priced and amazingly comes with a 60-day money back guarantee period! This was unusual because products I review normally come with only a 1-month money back period, at most. This means you can try the recommended methods for a full 2 months completely risk free. It was certainly reassuring that the author was confident with his offerings – but I wanted to find out more.
Do these scar treatments really work?
The way it is written, The Scar Solution feels almost like 2 books in one – the first being a well researched manual on current scar treatment techniques, and the 2nd where he offers alternative solutions.
Sean Lowry attempts to remove all the hype as he explains his proven scar techniques step-by-step in simple to understand terms. He never makes audacious claims, but his tone throughout certainly belies a quiet confidence in his techniques.
My favourite part about this guide is that he provides different treatment methods depending on which type of scars you have, whether it be acne scarring, surgical scarring or scars from wounds. Some other guides I’ve previously viewed lump all types into a single category and provide generic advice that leaves you unsatisfied.
In Chapter 1 and 2, the guide gives the lowdown on different scarring types and gives some fantastic tips on preventing scarring. The next couple of chapters focuses on the actual techniques he teaches to get rid of different scars effectively. Being the eternal skeptic, I was expecting to find rehashed granny tales but I was glad to find my fears dispelled. He claims that his techniques were exhaustively tested and that he personally used them to treat his own scars, with great success (which explains why he offers a 60-day return policy I suppose).
One criticism I have of The Scar Solution is that it is a fairly short guide, under a 100 pages. I also would have liked to hear more about his personal acne scars stories. Then again, I wasn’t expecting a story book when I bought this, and sometimes short and sweet is always better. That’s what this book offers – a solid, condensed guide packed with some great techniques that are proven.
The final word
So, would I recommend The Scar Solution? The answer is a resounding YES! This book is far from perfect, but it most certainly over-delivers on its promise. The thing that hooked me was the longer-than-usual 60-day refund period, and I’m happy to say I’ve not had to return it yet 
If you are suffering from debilitating facial or body scars and want something that works (without the BS) then I wouldn’t be looking further than Sean Lowry’s The Scar Solution.
